This website collects interviews of non-academic (meaning non-faculty) philosophers by non-academic philosophers. I’m Eleni Manis and I conducted these interviews after leaving my job as a philosophy professor to work in government and the political arena. Stephanie Wykstra also contributed two interviews and support for the project. She left her job as a philosophy professor to work with GiveWell, and more recently has focused on open science and data-sharing. The Phil Skills website was built by Jitendra Subramanyam, a philosophy PhD who runs his own IT consulting company. We all met through this project.
